Ingredients
- 250 g (9 oz) puff pastry
- 15 tiger shrimp
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Sesame seeds, for sprinkling
- 1 egg yolk, for brushing
Instructions
- Peel the shrimp, leaving only the tails, and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Cut the puff pastry into thin strips. Wrap each shrimp in a strip of pastry, brush with the yolk, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake in a preheated 180 C (350 F) oven for about 20 minutes, until golden.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Tips
- Pat the shrimp very dry before wrapping so the pastry stays crisp and flaky.
- Leave the shrimp tails exposed — they make a pretty presentation and an easy handle.
