Ingredients
- 500 g (1.1 lb) chicken breast
- 100 g (1 cup) breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 100 g (3/4 cup) flour
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breast into strips. Beat the eggs with salt and spices.
- Dredge each strip in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat in breadcrumbs.
- Arrange on parchment and bake at 180C (350F) for 25-30 minutes – crispy strips with no deep-frying.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce to keep them juicy.
Tips
- For the crunchiest coating, press the breadcrumbs firmly onto each strip and let them rest a few minutes before baking.
- Line the pan with parchment and give the strips space — crowding steams them instead of crisping them.
