Ingredients
- 1 package lavash (thin flatbread)
- 300 g (10.5 oz) cottage cheese
- 50 g (1.8 oz) cheese, grated
- Fresh parsley, dill and green onions, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 120 ml (1/2 cup) milk
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix the cottage cheese with the herbs and grated cheese; season with salt.
- Beat the eggs with the milk.
- Cut the lavash into strips, spread on the filling and roll into snug parcels, pressing gently so they hold.
- Dip each roll in the egg-milk mixture and pan-fry in a well-heated skillet over medium heat until golden on both sides.
Tips
Press the rolls gently so they hold their shape while frying. Keep the skillet at medium heat so the lavash turns golden without burning. For more egg and dairy inspiration, see Allrecipes for classic breakfast ideas.
