Ingredients
For the dough
- 200 ml milk
- 240-250 g flour
- Pinch of baking soda
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
For the filling
- 200 g cottage cheese (5%)
- 100 g cheese, grated
- Fresh herbs, chopped
- Salt
- Butter for brushing
Instructions
- Mix the dough ingredients and knead. Divide into 6 pieces.
- Roll each piece out thin so it cooks through, brush with melted butter, and add the filling.
- Fold into envelopes and fry on a dry skillet on both sides.
- Brush with butter and serve hot.
Tips
- Roll the dough really thin — thick envelopes stay doughy in the middle.
- Keep the skillet dry and at medium heat so the envelopes crisp without burning.
