Ingredients
- 1 chicken breast fillet
- 1 red onion, sliced into half-rings
- Fresh herbs, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- Flatbread or large tortilla
- Chicken spices, salt, pepper, and sweet smoked paprika
- For the sauce: 2 tbsp sour cream, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, herbs, 1 garlic clove
Instructions
- Sear the chicken over high heat with the spices until deeply golden and cooked through.
- Slice the onion into half-rings, chop the herbs, and scrunch them together by hand so the onion absorbs the herby juices.
- Stir together all sauce ingredients.
- Spread sauce on the flatbread, layer on the chicken, onion, and tomatoes. Roll up tightly and toast in a dry pan.
Tips
- Use a very hot pan for the chicken, so it gets deeply golden without drying out.
- Roll the wrap tightly and toast it seam-side down first, so it seals and stays together.
