Creamy cottage cheese meets crackly chocolate in these chocolate-covered cottage cheese bars — a frozen treat that tastes like ice cream bars but packs a protein punch. Silky honey-sweetened cottage cheese is set inside a chocolate shell with juicy berries, then frozen until firm. If you love frozen desserts, our Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream is another must-try.

Ingredients
- 360 g (12.7 oz) block cottage cheese
- Honey to taste
- 200 g (7 oz) chocolate (one dark, one milk works well)
- Berries or fruit for filling (optional)
Instructions
- Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in the microwave. Brush silicone molds with it and freeze for 20 minutes.
- While the shell sets, mix the cottage cheese with honey.
- Fill the molds with the cheese mixture, adding berries or fruit if you like.
- Cover with more chocolate and freeze until firm.
Tips
- Melt the chocolate gently in short bursts so it stays glossy — overheated chocolate turns grainy.
