Ingredients
- 1 camembert wheel (125 g)
- 1 baguette
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 12-15 cherry tomatoes
- Oregano and basil, to taste
- 10 ml (2 tsp) olive oil
- 1 sprig rosemary
Instructions
- Drizzle the camembert with olive oil and top with the minced garlic, oregano, and basil.
- Place the camembert on a baking sheet along with the baguette (sliced, brushed with olive oil) and the cherry tomatoes. Tuck in the rosemary sprig.
- Bake at 180 C (350 F) for 15 minutes, until the cheese is molten and the tomatoes are blistered.
- Serve by spreading the roasted tomatoes on baguette slices and dipping them into the melted camembert.
Tips
- Bake the camembert in its wooden box (or a small ovenproof dish) so it holds its shape while the inside turns molten.
- Watch the baguette slices closely — thin slices can go from golden to burnt in a minute.
