Ingredients

  • 2 chicken fillets
  • 100 g (1 cup) cheese, in sticks
  • 2 eggs
  • Flour, for dredging
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the fillets like cutlets, pound, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Lay cheese on each fillet and roll up. Beat the eggs with a fork.
  3. Dredge each roll in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Bake at 180 C (350 F) for about 40 minutes.

Tips

Pound the fillets evenly so the rolls cook through at the same rate. Seal the edges well so the cheese stays inside while baking. For another comforting dinner, try our One-Pan Chicken and Mushrooms, and see Allrecipes for more baked chicken ideas.
