This no-bake chocolate banana cottage cheese dessert is proof that healthy treats can taste indulgent. Silky blended cottage cheese meets rich cocoa and sweet banana, set with just a touch of gelatin — no oven required. High in protein and naturally satisfying, it’s the perfect make-ahead dessert for chocolate lovers.

Ingredients
- 800 g (28 oz) soft cottage cheese (4% fat)
- 110 g (about 1 medium) banana
- 20 g (2 tbsp) gelatin
- 200 ml (3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) water
- 40 g (1/3 cup) cocoa powder
- 15 g (1 tbsp) sugar substitute (such as Fitparad)
Instructions
- Place the gelatin in a saucepan with the water and warm over low heat, stirring constantly, until fully dissolved. Do not let it boil.
- Blend the cottage cheese, cocoa, sugar substitute, and the banana mashed to a puree. Stir in the dissolved gelatin and whisk until smooth.
- Pour into dessert molds and refrigerate until set.
- Dust the set dessert with cocoa and decorate with blueberries or any berries you like.
Tips
- Blend the cottage cheese until completely smooth — any graininess will show in the finished dessert.
- Keep the gelatin mixture warm (not hot) when combining so it blends evenly without lumps. The USDA recommends refrigerating dairy-based desserts promptly and keeping them chilled until serving.
