Ingredients
- 500 g (1.1 lb) chicken breast, diced
- 300 g (10.5 oz) broccoli florets
- 250 g (9 oz) mushrooms, sliced
- 2 eggs
- 5-6 tbsp sour cream
- 100 g (3.5 oz) hard cheese, grated
- Salt, pepper and paprika to taste
Instructions
- Combine the chicken, broccoli and mushrooms in a baking dish. Whisk the eggs with the sour cream, salt, pepper and paprika, then pour over the mixture.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180 C (350 F) for 40 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle the grated cheese over the top and bake for another 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
Tips
- Cut the chicken into even pieces so it cooks at the same rate as the broccoli — about bite-size works best.
- Seal the foil tightly so the chicken steams in the sauce and stays juicy. For another cozy chicken dinner, try our Chakhokhbili Georgian Chicken Stew.
