Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 100 g (1/2 cup) sugar
- 100 g (7 tbsp) softened butter
- 50 ml (3 tbsp) milk
- 210 g (1 3/4 cups) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 100 g (2/3 cup) chocolate chips
Instructions
- Beat the softened butter with the sugar until creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Pour in the milk and stir to combine.
- Fold in the flour mixed with baking powder and the vanilla sugar.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Line a loaf pan with parchment, spread in the batter, and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 45-50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
Tips
- Toss the chocolate chips in a spoonful of flour so they do not sink to the bottom of the loaf.
- Check with a toothpick at 45 minutes, and bake a little longer only if it still comes out wet.
