These honey-mustard chicken wings are marinated until deeply flavorful, then roasted on skewers over golden potato wedges so the savory juices drip down and season everything below. Much like our Juicy Marinated Roast Chicken, this is a hands-off one-pan dinner that tastes like you spent all day on it.

Ingredients
- 1 kg (2.2 lb) chicken wings
- 1 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 800 g (1.8 lb) potatoes
Instructions
- Trim the wing tips and divide the wings at the joints.
- Mix salt, pepper, paprika, soy sauce, oil, mustard and honey into a marinade; coat the wings, cover and marinate for 1 hour.
- Cut the potatoes into wedges, season with salt, pepper and paprika, and spread them in a baking dish.
- Thread the wings onto skewers and lay them across the dish over the potatoes.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 1 hour until golden and cooked through.
Tips
- Pat the wings dry before marinating so the honey-mustard glaze sticks better and caramelizes beautifully in the oven.

- Cook to a safe internal temperature — Serious Eats recommends 165°F (74°C) for juicy, safe chicken.
