Ingredients
- 360 g (about 1 2/3 cups) cottage cheese (9% fat)
- 3 eggs
- Pinch of salt
- Sugar, sweetener, or honey, to taste
- 60 g (1/4 cup) sour cream or yogurt
- 60 g (1/4 cup) starch
- Vanilla
- 100 g (about 3/4 cup) strawberries
- Oil + 1 tbsp semolina, for the pan
Instructions
- Halve the strawberries.
- Blend all bake ingredients smooth. Oil the pan, dust with semolina/flour, pour in the batter, and arrange strawberries on top.
- Bake at 180 C (350 F) for 25-30 minutes. If your oven browns hard from below, set a water pan on the lower rack.
- Cool in the pan before unmolding and slicing.
Tips
- Blend until completely smooth for a creamy, custard-like texture, and do not skip cooling in the pan — it sets as it cools.
- Pat the strawberries dry so the top stays pretty and the bake does not turn watery. For strawberry inspiration, see recipes at allrecipes.com.
- Sweeten to taste: a little honey or sweetener goes a long way once the strawberries roast and sweeten.
