Ingredients
- 200 ml (about 3/4 cup) milk
- 15 g (1 1/2 tbsp) powdered gelatin
- 200 g (7 oz) soft cottage cheese
- 350 g (12.3 oz) strawberries
- Sweetener to taste
Instructions
- Warm the milk, stir in the gelatin until dissolved and set aside for 15 minutes.
- Blend the soft cottage cheese, strawberries and sweetener until completely smooth.
- Pour in the gelatin mixture and blend briefly again for an airy texture.
- Divide among molds and freeze for 30 minutes until set. Serve, or move to the refrigerator for storage.
Tips
- Use ripe, fragrant strawberries — they carry the flavor of the whole dessert.
- Make sure the gelatin is fully dissolved in warm (not boiling) milk so the mousse sets evenly.
