Ingredients
- 2 large lavash flatbreads
- 150 g (5 oz) mozzarella, grated
- 200 g (7 oz) cooked chicken, diced
- 150 g (5 oz) mushrooms, sauteed with 1 onion
- Fresh herbs (dill or parsley), chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 egg, beaten, for brushing
- Sesame seeds for sprinkling
Instructions
- Mix the chicken, mushrooms, mozzarella, herbs, sour cream, salt and pepper.
- Spread the filling over the lavash sheets and roll them up tightly.
- Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes until golden.
Tips
- Roll the lavash tightly and place the rolls seam-side down so they hold their shape in the oven.
- Let the rolls rest for a few minutes after baking so the cheese sets slightly before slicing.
