Golden baked cheesy chicken and mushroom lavash rolls sprinkled with sesame seeds

Ingredients

  • 2 large lavash flatbreads
  • 150 g (5 oz) mozzarella, grated
  • 200 g (7 oz) cooked chicken, diced
  • 150 g (5 oz) mushrooms, sauteed with 1 onion
  • Fresh herbs (dill or parsley), chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 egg, beaten, for brushing
  • Sesame seeds for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Mix the chicken, mushrooms, mozzarella, herbs, sour cream, salt and pepper.
  2. Spread the filling over the lavash sheets and roll them up tightly.
  3. Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes until golden.

Tips

  • Roll the lavash tightly and place the rolls seam-side down so they hold their shape in the oven.
  • Let the rolls rest for a few minutes after baking so the cheese sets slightly before slicing.
