These baked sushi balls are warm, crispy, and full of creamy filling. Wrapped in nori and baked until bubbly and golden.

Ingredients
- Sushi rice, cooked
- 1 sheet nori
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Salmon roe
- Grated cheese
- Any filling of choice
Instructions
- Mix the mayonnaise, grated cheese, soy sauce, and roe. Cook the rice and cool slightly (do not salt it).
- Cut the nori into 3 cm strips. Form small rice balls, wrap with a nori strip (dab with rice to seal), and tuck your chosen filling inside.
- Bake at 200°C (400°F) with convection for a few minutes until the tops bubble.
Tips
- Keep the rice slightly warm so the balls hold together.
- Do not overfill the balls or the nori may split.
- Bake just until the tops bubble so they stay crisp.
