Ingredients

  • 250 g (2 cups) flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 120 g (1/2 cup) plain yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) milk
  • 150 g (5 oz) suluguni cheese, grated
  • Green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients (except the egg wash) into a soft dough, roll into a round about 1 cm thick, and cut into triangles.
  2. Place on a baking sheet, brush with the beaten egg, and bake at 180 C (350 F) for about 25 minutes until golden.

Tips

  • Do not overwork the dough — mix just until it comes together for the softest flatbreads. For a refresher on quick doughs, see the baking guides on allrecipes.com.
  • Try them alongside our Cottage Cheese and Cheese Buns for a full cheese-bread spread.
  • Best eaten warm from the oven, when the cheese center is still gooey.
