Baked chicken nests with pineapple and melted cheese served on a plate

Ingredients

  • 500 g (1.1 lb) ground chicken
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) hard cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 4–5 pineapple rings (canned)
  • Spices to taste
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Shape the ground chicken into nest forms on a baking sheet. Place a pineapple ring in the center of each and brush with sour cream.
  2. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle generously with grated cheese.
  3. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–40 minutes until cooked through and golden.

Tips

  • Wet your hands with cold water before shaping the nests — the ground chicken will not stick to your palms, and the cups will hold their shape better in the oven.
  • For extra flavor, mix a pinch of garlic powder or smoked paprika into the ground chicken before shaping the nests.
