Ingredients
- Makes 9: 400 g (14 oz) cottage cheese (9%), patted dry
- 130 g (4.5 oz) cream cheese
- 60 g (4 tbsp) butter, room temperature
- 50 g (1/4 cup) powdered sugar
- Boiled condensed milk to taste
- 300 g (10.5 oz) milk chocolate
- 35 ml (2.5 tbsp) vegetable oil
Instructions
- Blend the cottage cheese, cream cheese and butter into a smooth creamy mass.
- Add the powdered sugar and boiled condensed milk; mix well.
- Pipe onto parchment and freeze 2-3 hours.
- Melt the chocolate with the oil in a water bath.
- Dip each frozen bar quickly in the chocolate; place on parchment.
- Freeze 30 minutes until the glaze sets.
Tips
- Pat the cottage cheese very dry and blend until completely smooth for the silkiest filling.
- Work quickly when dipping so the frozen bars do not soften, and keep the chocolate warm but not hot.
- Store the finished bars in an airtight container in the freezer and let them sit for a few minutes before serving. For general food safety guidance, see USDA and browse more chocolate dessert ideas at Allrecipes.
