Ingredients
- Chicken fillet
- Canned beans
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- Garlic
- Dumpling dough
- Tomato paste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Saute the onion and carrot; set aside. Then fry the chicken fillet for 10 minutes, add the onion back, and fry 5 minutes more.
- While the chicken cooks, roll the dough into a thin flatbread, spread with the sauteed onion and carrot, roll up, and cut into 2-3 cm rolls.
- Add the beans, tomato paste, garlic, salt, and pepper to the chicken; stir and fry a few minutes.
- Arrange the dough rolls on top, pour in water to cover about a quarter of the dough, cover, and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
Tips
- Roll the dough as thin as you can so the rolls cook through and stay tender.
- Keep the heat low and the lid on while simmering, so the rolls steam gently instead of breaking apart.
