Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 500 g cabbage, shredded
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp chicken seasoning
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. Toss drumsticks with mayonnaise, chicken seasoning, salt, and minced garlic. Mix cabbage, onion, carrot with vegetable oil and salt; place everything in a roasting bag on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake at 180 C (350 F) for 50–60 minutes.
  3. For crispy skin, carefully cut the bag open (watch for hot steam) and return to oven 10–15 minutes until golden.

Tips

  • Do not overfill the bag — leave room for hot air to circulate.
  • Open the bag carefully at the end; the trapped steam is very hot.
  • Let the chicken rest 5 minutes before serving so the juices settle.
