Ingredients
- 600 g (1.3 lb) beef
- Fresh parsley or cilantro
- 4 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- Chili pepper, to taste
- Sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
Instructions
- Slice the beef thinly and boil 3-4 minutes in boiling water. Chop the herbs finely; mince the garlic and chili.
- Transfer the meat to a deep bowl; pour over the soy and oyster sauces; add the herbs, garlic, and chili; then pour sizzling hot oil over everything. Toss well. Marinate or eat right away.
- Plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Tips
- Slice the beef as thinly as possible; partially freezing it first makes even slicing much easier.
- Pour the oil when it is really hot, but carefully, so the herbs and garlic bloom without burning.
